Fiber internet uses thin strands of glass to transmit data as light signals. This technology allows for much faster and more reliable internet connections compared to traditional copper cables. It's great because it offers higher speeds and excellent performance while also being able to handle increasing levels of demand for data transmission.
It starts with you signing a Fiber Utility Agreement (FUA), which grants us permission to be on your property and lets us know you intend to sign up for our service.
Most of our deployment will be above-ground, so our team will run the fiber optic cable from overhead poles to a pre-determined location at your home. Conduit will be placed along the side of your house and a “demarc box” installed (looks like a grey telephone box). The fiber will then be pulled through the conduit and into the box, connecting it back to our nearby vault. After the fiber is spliced the connection will be tested back to our cabinet. Lastly, we'll schedule an install to finalize the connection within your home.
If the conduit is to be placed on the side of your home behind a locked gate, the crew and splicer may need you home to gain entry. Please make a note of gated entries, and any pets that are outside, on your FUA and the crew will contact you to make arrangements if needed.
Our standard fee for a fiber drop, which brings fiber from the mainline to your property, is $199. If, however, you commit to our service before October 1, 2025, we will offer this service for free! Between October 1 and December 31, 2025, the fee will be $99. Beginning January 1, 2026, the fee will revert to our standard $199.
We’re able to offer these discounted rates only when our crews are working onsite because once done, it is more costly for us to bring them and their equipment back.

Our goal is to expand fiber beyond Phase 1 into more of Sweet Home, but unfortunately we’re not able to provide a timeline. Until then, we offer reliable service via fixed wireless and would be happy to get you connected.
Due to the volume of work and the expense of installing a drop line, we are prioritizing locations that want our service. If you change your mind after our crews have completed work in the area, the cost to receive a line may be significantly higher.
Fiber drop lines (connecting the mainline to your home) will be prioritized as first come, first served. Once done, we'll be able to schedule your install and typically we have availability within a number of days. We'll do our best to get you online using the fiber service as quickly as possible!
$99 installation fee. Router rental is optional.
