Oregon Lifeline

How eligible low-income households can apply the Lifeline and Oregon Lifeline benefit to Alyrica service.

Lifeline is a federal and Oregon state government assistance program that provides eligible low-income households with a monthly discount on communications services. Alyrica Networks, Inc. is a participating provider of Oregon Lifeline-supported service.

About the Benefit

Lifeline is a federal government assistance program, and Oregon Lifeline is Oregon's companion state program. Together they lower the monthly cost of qualifying communications service for eligible low-income households. Alyrica Networks, Inc. is a participating provider of Lifeline- and Oregon Lifeline-supported service in Oregon.

The Oregon Lifeline benefit is applied as a monthly credit against the standard rate for your Alyrica plan. For current benefit amounts, visit lifeline.oregon.gov.

The benefit is limited to one per household and cannot be transferred to another person or household.

Who May Enroll

Households may qualify if their income is at or below 135 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or if they participate in certain government assistance programs such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or Medicaid. For current eligibility criteria, visit lifeline.oregon.gov.

Only eligible low-income households may enroll and proof of eligibility may be required.

How to Apply

Oregon residents apply directly through the Oregon Public Utility Commission (OPUC) at https://apps.puc.state.or.us/rspf/otapapp.asp.

If approved, the OPUC will notify Alyrica Networks, Inc. to apply the Lifeline benefit to your account.

Keeping the Benefit

The OPUC will recertify your eligibility each year and may send you a recertification form to complete. If you are no longer eligible, you will be de-enrolled and your Alyrica account will return to the standard rate for your plan.

Questions

For questions about eligibility or your application, contact the OPUC at 1-800-848-4442 or puc.rspf@puc.oregon.gov, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
